Dear Friends,

In a recent Facebook post, a young lady shared how she’s dealing with some recent challenges by recommending our series, A General Overview of the Bible. She invited others to join her in finding focus and perspective. It was exciting to see one of our resources shared so naturally. This reminds us of the value of our free, online, Scripture-based content for helping people engage more deeply with the Bible.

Free Resources for All

For instance, this Bible Overview contains 74 episodes, each about 25 minutes long, and provides the context to grasp the full scope of the Biblical narrative and God’s plan. Another series of 77 episodes, New Readings, explores the cultural background of the New Testament, with a special focus on St. Paul, connecting ancient Scripture with our lives today. An additional 52 new episodes will soon be available!

For children, Kingo and his vibrant musical kingdom present Biblical virtues through 26 colorful and engaging videos, including versions in Sign-Language. Also serving the Deaf community is the full translation of the Gospel of Mark in sign language.

We have hundreds of video clips on the Bible Society YouTube channel, with complete books of the Bible, portions and thematic content, and… our new Egyptian Colloquial translations (even the Saidi Dialect!).

Expanding Digital Access

Our goal is to keep expanding our digital presence, making God’s Word accessible to all Arabic speakers through a variety of platforms. Along with YouTube, Sound Cloud and our 24/7 Internet Radio have blessed hundreds of thousands of unique listeners! But perhaps our most exciting tools are our various Mobile Apps:

Our Bible in One Year app has fostered daily reading habits for 575,870 unique users, logging 30.5 million chapter reads since launch in 2020. Many have read the entire Bible for the first time through this app. The impact is humbling.

Launched in January 2023, the Everyday Bible app has quickly become one of Egypt’s most popular Scripture apps, serving 241,875 active users with 5.1 million sessions.

Designed for youth, the Kalamak Noory app takes Bible reading to another level with 21,732 registered players answering over 1.8 million daily Bible quiz questions. It’s an exciting way to motivate the next generation to dig into God’s Word.

Our Dedicated Team

Behind these innovations is a team driven by their personal love for the Bible. Joseph wanted to engage teenagers in his Church with the Bible. John wanted Bible stories for his daughter. Mafdy sought better tools for his Bible study. Wasim desired an app that could encourage his youth group to dive into Scripture. Their passion for the Word translates into the resources they create for all of us.
