QC ENGINEER

We are seeking a QC Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team. As a QC Engineer, your critical role is ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. You have to be proficient in manual testing and have experience with automation testing. The ideal candidate has to be familiar with project management tools such as JIRA or other tools and possess strong testing skills for both web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

Conduct manual testing for web and mobile applications to identify defects and ensure quality.
Develop and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and develop test plans.
Use project management tools like JIRA to track and manage test cases, defects, and project progress.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Identify, record, document, and track bugs using appropriate tools.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results and quality metrics.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Job Qualifications:

Proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies.
Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
Experience with project management tools like ClickUp or Asana.
Understanding of test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or similar and documenting test cases and scenarios.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with API testing tools like Postman.
Knowledge of version control systems, primarily Git.
Fluent or at least very good English skills.
Supportive and passionate about the purpose and objectives of the Ministry.
